One might notice that it is once again getting pretty close to the end of the year. And what a year I has been.. It seems that it has been at the same time the longest and shortest year ever. When I look back 12 months from today, it is hard to believe how far we have come. If someone would have told me last Christmas the point where we are now, I would have probably told you that you would be dreaming.. And in fact that exactly how it has felt these past few months. As I’m writing this we are pretty much done with the recordings of the album and mr. Captain is mixing the songs. The final product should be in stores February and we’ll let you know the date early January. I’m still find it hard to believe that it is happening 
I will close my laptop now and head for a couple of weeks of holiday. Just laying low and changing the batteries for brand new year. Man, I’m so looking forward to it
I would like to thanks You all for being a big part of this story. And remember.. This is only the beginning.

Ho ho hoo!
Ihr werdet bemerkt haben, dass wir u ns bereits wieder dem Jahresende nähern. Und was ist das für ein Jahr gewesen…
Es scheint, als sei es gleichzeitig das längste und kürzeste Jahr überhaupt gewesen. Wenn ich von heute 12 Monate zurückschaue, dann ist es schwer zu glauben, wie weit wir gekommen sind. Hätte mir irgend jemand letztes Weihnachten von dem Punkt, an dem wir uns jetzt befinden erzählt, so hätte ich Euch wahrscheinlich gesagt, dass Ihr träumt. Und das ist genau das, wie es sich die vergangenen Monate angefühlt hat. Während ich das schreibe, haben wir die Aufnahmen fürs Album so ziemlich beendet und Mr. Captain mixt nun die Songs. Das fertige Produkt sollte dann im Februar in den Läden erhältlich sein und wir werden Euch das genaue Datum Anfang Januar wissen lassen. Ich finde es noch immer unglaublich, dass all das tatsächlich geschieht :) Und der Hauptgrund dafür , dass all dies GESCHIEHT, ist , dass all Ihr unglaublichen Leute an meiner Seite gestanden habt und das Wichtigste ist, Ihr habt mich nie allein gelassen. Erinnert Euch daran, Euch niemals zu ändern!
Ich werde meinen Laptop nun schließen und ein paar Wochen Urlaub machen. Einfach nur runterfahren und die Batterien für das neue Jahr aufladen. Mann, ich freu mich so darauf
Um all Euch liebenswerten Menschen ein Geschenk zu machen, haben wir zwei “Muster-Songs” vom kommenden Album bei MySpace hochgeladen, damit Ihr Euch einen kleinen Eindruck verschaffen könnt, wie das Album klingen wird. Zögert nicht, einen Kommentar zu hinterlassen, wie Ihr die Songs findet.
Ich möchte Euch ALLEN dafür danken, dass Ihr ein Teil dieser Geschichte seid. Und denkt daran…dies ist erst der Anfang.

Ancora un sacco di notizie. Andiamo subito al punto:
1. Il primo concerto è andato!
Ieri alcuni di noi hanno avuto il piacere di vedere I Phoenix Effect per la prima volta su un palco e ascoltare alcune delle canzoni nuove. E’ stato fantastico vedere una folla così numerosa che aspettava impaziente di vedere anche il supporter, nono solo i POTF. Penso che questo duo (PE e POTF) è un pacchetto di “puro piacere” e spero proprio che li rivedremo insieme in futuro!

Il regista del video, la mente geniale Oskari Sippola sta facendo un lavoro di alta qualità e penso che amerete il video quando lo vedrete
Non voglio dare nessuna anticipazione ma diciamo che il video non è il tipico “riprendere la band mentre suona”. E’ più come un mini film. Vi terremo aggiornati quando il video sarà pronto e quando sarà arrivato il momento della premiere!

Pierwszy występ już za nami i wciąż czuję się niewiarygodnie. Jestem całkiem pewien, że niemożliwe jest zapomnieć uczucia towarzyszącego nam kiedy wchodziliśmy na scenę. Mnóstwo rąk ludzi uczestniczących w koncercie i naturalnie chłopacy z POTF, którzy zapowiedzieli nas przed swoim występem. Występ na żywo to jest rzecz! Możecie obejrzeć kilka krótkich filmików z tego wieczora na

http://www. samagency. fi/). Teraz powrócimy do studia żeby zakończyć pracę nad albumem i chcielibyśmy potem dać więcej występów. Nie mogę się doczekać.Video jest także kończone i powinno być gotowe za kilka dni. Kontekst nie jest bardzo jak „główne nurty” więc nie możemy się doczekać waszej reakcji. W każdym razie wszyscy jesteśmy podekscytowani rezultatami.

Wczoraj niektórzy z nas mieli okazję zobaczyć Phoenix Effect pierwszy raz na scenie i usłyszeć nowe piosenki. Świetnie było zobaczyć taki tłum oczekujący także na support, a nie tylko na Poets of The Fall. Naprawdę uważam, że ten duet ( PE & PotF) jest totalnym pakietem przyjemności i mam nadzieję, że zobaczymy ich razem w przyszłości.

Mam nadzieję występ spodobał się wam tak bardzo jak mnie. Wyraźcie swoja opinię na jego temat i na temat piosenek na:
2. Teledysk do Broken Promises jest prawie skończony. Jego reżyser Pan Oskari Sippola wykonuje profesjonalna pracę i myślę, że pokochacie to video kiedy je zobaczycie.
Nie chcę podawać żadnych spojlerów, ale chcę tylko powiedzieć, że klip nie jest typowym nagrywaniem gry zespołu. To bardziej jak krótki film. Damy wam znać kiedy video będzie skończone i kiedy przyjdzie czas na premierę.

The very first show is now behind us and the feeling is still unbelievable. I’m pretty sure that it is impossible to forget that feeling of climbing the stage that night. Das allererste Konzert liegt nun hinter uns und das Gefühl ist noch immer unglaublich. Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass es unmöglich ist zu vergessen, wie es sich angefühlt hat, in dieser Nacht wieder auf die Bühne
zu gehen. An riesiges Dankeschön an alle, die dabei waren und natürlich an die Poets of the Fall, die uns die Chance gaben, vor ihnen zu spielen. Live ist einfach DIE Sache! Ihr könnt Euch ein paar ziemlich coole Fotos unter folgendem Link anschauen:

Wir sind stolz Euch mitteilen zu können, dass Shows von Phoenix Effect von nun an von Sam Agency gebucht werden (http://www.samagency.fi). Wir werden jetzt ins Studio zurückkehren, um das Album fertigzustellen und nach dessen Veröffentlichung wird es auch weitere Shows geben. Ich kann´s kaum erwarten…
Das Video erhält nun auch seinen Feinschliff und sollte innerhalb der nächsten Tage fertig sein. Der Sinnzusammenhang des Videos ist nicht unbedingt ein “genereller Trend”, deshalb freuen wir uns schon sehr auf Eure Reaktionen.

1. First gig done!
Yesterday some of us had a pleasure to see Phoenix Effect first time on stage and hear a set of new songs. It was awesome to see such a big crowd eagerly waiting to see also the support act, not just PotF. I really think this duo (PE & PotF) is “total pleasure” packet and I really hope we’ll see them together also in the future!

I don’t want to give any spoilers, but lets just say that the video is not a typical “shooting the band play” kind of thing. More like a short movie. We’ll keep you posted when the video is done and it’s time for a premiere!

Es gibt wieder jede Menge zu erzählen. Also machen wir es kurz und bringen es auf den Punkt.
1. Der erste Gig hat stattgefunden.
Gestern hatten ein paar von uns das Vergnügen, Phoenix Effect zum allerersten Mal auf der Bühne sehen und eine Reihe neuer Songs hören zu können.Es war großartig zu sehen, wie eine große Menge begierig darauf gewartet hat, auch den Supporting Act zu erleben und nicht “nur” die Poets of the Fall. Ich glaube wirklich, dass dieses ”Duo” (Phoenix Effect und Poets of the Fall) ein einziges Vergnügungspacket ist und ich hoffe wirklich, dass wir sie auch in der Zukunft zusammen sehen werden!
