Hey all!
It has been a while since I’ve told you friends any news from my life, so I decided to write you a little recap. I know someone of you have maybe wondered that what have I done these past few moths but believe me, I’ve been more than busy, which is the way I like it.
As you might know, I’ve been playing with Kartsy and we have been doing some shows during the spring. I have to tell you that I have really enjoyed my time on the stage again. All thou the stages hasn’t been stadiums, playing ROCK is the thing. And I think the band really kicks ass! Some folks have came to our shows even from Germany(!) which has been so awesome. I cannot say enough thanks! We have been also tuning some news songs too with the band so there is already more than enough for one album 
I told you last time that I was also writing some own material. That project is now in a status that we’ve pretty much finished the songs and we’re about to start to record them. I’m getting help from some pretty cool people so I’m really looking forward seeing what comes out of that. We have so preliminary schedules for that too but they are not to be published yet. Who know what happens tomorrow.. It’ll be, at least for starters, my solo project with me doing the vocals and guitars, but I can evolve to anything. I’m building it brick by brick.. I’ll tell you more details later in the summer or early fall.
And on top of that I can tell you that the absolutely latest news in my life is that my lovely kids (Matias & Maija) got a beautiful baby sister last week. The whole family is fine and feeling great, even dad So in that sector alone there has been a lot of hassle. And it might not stop in a while..
I just want to say to all the wonderful people who have kept on supporting me these past moths; I cannot thank you enough. You are the main reason I have had a strength pull my self through. We will see us again, for sure.
And naturally a special thanks to the lovely girls in the FC team. I keep wondering how you have the time to do all the things you do

Hey Alle…
Es ist einige Zeit her seitdem ich Euch, meinen Freunden, Neues aus meinem Leben erzählt habe. Also hab’ ich entschieden euch einen kurzen Einblick zu gewähren.
Ich weiß einige von Euch haben sich sicherlich gefragt, was ich die letzten paar Monate gemacht habe, aber glaubt mir, ich war mehr als beschäftigt. Genau so wie ich es mag,
Wie Ihr vielleicht wisst, spiele ich mit Kärtsy und wir hatten einige Shows im Frühling. Ich kann Euch sagen, dass ich die Zeit auf der Bühne wirklich genossen habe. Auch wenn es eher kleine Bühnen waren, ROCK zu spielen..darum geht es, und ich denke die Band ist wirklich großartig. Einige kamen zu unseren Shows, auch aus Deutschland, was ich wirklich beeindruckend fand. Ich kann mich kaum genug bedanken!
Wir arbeiten gerade an neuen Songs, also es ist bereits mmehr als genug um ein Album zu füllen.
Letztes mal hab’ ich Euch erzählt, dass ich an eigenen Songs arbeite.
Dieses Projekt ist nun soweit fortgeschritten, dass wir die Songs soweit fertig haben und dabei sind sie aufzunehmen.
Dabei stehen mir wirklich coole Leute zur Seite, so dass ich wirklich gespannt bin was daraus wird. Wir haben auch ein paar vorausgehende Pläne dafür, aber die werden im Moment noch nicht veröffentlicht, wer weiß schon was morgen sein wird? Für alle die neu dazu gekommen sind, ich spreche über mein Solo-Projekt, wo ich selbst die Lead-Vocals singe und zur Gitarre greife..aber es kann sich zu allem entwickeln. Ich baue sozusagen Stein auf Stein und verrate Euch mehr darüber im Spätsommer bzw. Anfang Herbst.
Und um noch eins drauf zu setzen kann ich Euch die letzten Neuigkeiten aus meinem Leben verraten. Meine zwei bezaubernden Kinder (Matias und Maija) haben eine wunderschöne kleine Schwester bekommen.
Der ganzen Familie geht es gut..auch Daddy =)
Was ich noch unbedingt all den wunderbaren Menschen sagen möchte die mich nicht aufgehört haben mich zu unterstützen ist: Ich kann Euch nicht genug danken. Ihr seid der wichtigste Grund warum ich mich selbst aufgerafft habe. Wir sehen uns wieder, das ist sicher!
Und natürlich einspeziellen Dank an meine liebesnwerten Mädels vom Fanclub-Team. Ich wunder mich immer wieder wie ihr soviel Zeit aufbringt, um das alles für mich zu tun.

Some time has passed and I decided to let you guys know little what is going on in my life. As you might know the fall was a bit tough but as the days are getting longer even here in the north, I find my self in a pretty good spirit. Of course the future plans are pretty different than they were six months ago.
I have had a lot of time in the past few months to think hard about life. What I’ve done and not done, what I want and who I really am? I feel so lucky to have so many great friends out there. You have been really a big factor in this process. There were a time when I even doubted my self but you allways proved me wrong. Today can truly say that I know who I am and what I want. Naturally no-one can say what the future holds but I can see the spot on the horizon allready and I starting the engines.
So what is happening in my life..
I’ve started writing songs with some really nice people and I feel really good(and lucky) about the whole thing. These guys have returned a stack of confidenced in me and I allready owe them a lot for that. We’ve decided not to make any exact plans or set any dates. The main goal is to enjoy the music and not to take any pressure about it. If and when we have enough songs ready we will make a decision if whey are good enough to be put on an album. Let’s keep our fingers crossed..
I’ve also joined a band now(!) The lead singer of a finnish band Waltari, mr Kärtsy Hatakka, asked me if I would like to come play guitar in his solo project. I naturally said yes and we have been playing a couple of shows allready in Helsinki. Playing a gig felt a bit funny at first but it’s ROCK so it’s really cool. I have also met some really nice people in and through the band but most of all, it has been really fun. Maybe the band will visit the continental europe too someday.
I will keep you posted when something worth telling happens. Stay tuned!
As I’m writing this, I get a message telling me to check out the latest entry in “a certain blog”. You might know what I mean. Thou I made a decision to not comment on any of the naive statements from mr. Haber concerning the handling of this matter, I have to make an exception this time. Samu says the following: “He wants all of our money and also the name Sunrise Avenue away from us”. I have to say that that kind of a statement doesn’t surprise me at all. I can tell you guys that the claim is about the trademark “Sunrise Avenue” and who owns it. I’m asking for the court to confirm that the trademark belongs to all five of us. I think it’s obvious that if all of us have put our heart and soul into building the thing it should be owned leagaly by all five of us. The case is public so enyone can go and check what it is really about. Everyone can make their own conclutions from there.

Hello Dear Friends!
Let me start by say that I have been totally blown away by the interest that all of you have shown in my doings and future. I have to say that it has played a major role in my process towards something new. I don’t really want to call it Wonderland anymore. The word has a bitter taste in my mouth.
There has been a lot of questions about am I doing something right now or am I starting something new. The truth right now is that I honestly don’t know yet. I feel that the wounds are way too open and deep so that I could be able to make any decisions that I could firmly stand behind. The moods vary from day to day so I can’t really say anything to anything, and be sure of it. I still need to take some time to clear my head first, but if and when the day comes, you will be the first to know.
I really want to thank each and every one of you who have contacted me after this thing. I you have made my life a bit easier every day. Keep up the spirit! I’ll try to do the same.

Hallo liebe Freunde,
Last mich sagen das ich total überwältigt war von Eurem Interesse was ich in Zukunft tun werde. Ich muss sagen das dies eine sehr grosse Rolle in meinem Verarbeitungsprozess gespielt hat und auch was etwas Neues betrifft.
Ich will es nicht mehr “Wonderland” nennen, das Wort hat einen zu bitteren Beigeschmack für mich.
Es wurden viele Fragen gestellt, was ich im Moment tue und wie es weitergeht. Die Wahrheit darüber ist das ich es im Moment nicht weiss. Die Wunden sind noch zu weit geöffnet und viel zu tief, als das ich im Moment in der Lage wäre, etwas anzufangen hinter dem ich voll und ganz stehen könnte. Meine Stimmung schwankt von Tag zu Tag, so dass ich nicht in der Lage bin etwas zu irgendwas zu sagen und mir selbst darüber sicher zu sein.
Ich brauche immer noch Zeit um meinen Kopf frei zu kriegen, aber wenn dieser Tag gekommen ist, seit ihr die ersten die es wissen werden!
Ich möchte an dieser Stelle nochmal wirklich jeden danken der mich nach all dem kontaktiert hat. Ihr habt mir das Leben jeden tag etwas leichter gemacht.
Haltet daran fest…. ich werd’ es auch versuchen!!
